Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Mise, run by Michael Jamieson (“we”, “us”). By creating a login or using Mise you agree to them. Questions: michael@subsensation.com.

What Mise is

Mise is a tool for restaurant operators: prep lists, order guides, shift packets, special orders and related reports. It works from the numbers you and your staff enter or upload. It is a planning aid, not a guarantee.

Your account

• Keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your login and in stores you own.
• Store owners decide who gets access (managers they invite) and can remove them.
• You must be allowed to use any data you upload (for example sales reports, distributor invoices, brand forms).

Your data

Your store data stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run Mise for you. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

• No trying to reach another store's data, break security, overload the service or scrape it.
• No unlawful content or use.

Food safety and ordering decisions

Mise suggests quantities, temperatures and checklists from your data. You and your managers stay responsible for food safety, ordering, staffing and compliance with health codes and your franchise agreement. Always use your own judgment.

Payment

If you are on a paid plan, the price, billing period and any trial are shown when you sign up. Fees are not refundable except where the law requires. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Mise running and your data backed up, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. We may change or stop features; if we shut Mise down we will give notice and a way to export your data.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using Mise at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Sections about data, liability and disputes survive.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA.
